How do I get started?

Fees

The first three fees you pay for all international programs are: (1) the Agency's Application Fee of $500 and (2) the Foreign Adoption Processing Fee of $3,000, and (3) the Dossier Translation and/or Dossier Registration Fee of $1,000.

The country fees for the referral of one child are as follows:

Fees for a second child or siblings vary from country to country and case to case. Call us for information. For sibling groups of three or more and for children with special needs ( medical, older, etc), we reduce fees as much as possible. If your finances are limited, call us and discuss your options.

These fees include: Assistance with preparation of your total adoption budget Assistance with your preparation of all of your documents for the foreign court Translation of all of your documents Some authentications costs but not all Attorney's fees and court costs abroad Our long distance telephone calls to you and to the foreign country Assistance with your foreign travel arrangements Follow-up reporting back to the country of origin of your child

These fees do not include: Your home study Your domestic telephone calls Fees paid to CIS (formerly the US Immigration & Naturalization Service) Your travel expenses abroad (airfare, lodging, food, ground transportation, translation related to your travel) The cost of travel to bring your child home Your visa fees to travel abroad US visa costs for your child Legal fees for the finalization or revalidation of your adoption in the US Post-placement agency reports
